Park Details:
The area is crossed by trails [no roads]. Bandelier Monument is characterized by tan cliffs, forested mesas and deep gorges. It is of interest today to geologists and archaeologists because of its prehistoric Native American ruins, including cliff ruins that extend for 2 miles.
