The Waterpocket Fold, a giant sinuous wrinkle in the Earth's crust created 65 million years ago, stretches for 100 miles. This stretch has colorful cliffs, massive domes, soaring spires and stark monoliths, all protected with the free-flowing Fremont River by Capital Reef National Park.
