Park Details:
While the erosion and gradual uplift of the land apparent in the Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area is not unusual, the beauty of the landscape with the breathtaking "S" curve twist in the Delaware River through Kittatinny Ridge, gives the gap its distinction. A word of caution, when driving along route 80 approaching the gap, make sure you slow down.
