Park Details:
The Badlands (El Malpais in spanish), is a spectacular volcanic area. The area was partially formed as recently as 3,000 years ago and features 10 volcanos, spatter cones, more than 50 miles of lava tubes and ice caves in an area rich in ancient Pueblo Indian history and divers ecosystems.
