Park Details:
From December, 1805 to March, 1806, members of the Lewis and Clark expedition wintered at Fort Clatsop. The fort is a log stockage about 50 feet square. The explorers built the Fort after their trail-blazing journey from the Mississippi River to the Pacific Ocean.
