Park Details:
Franklin Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the United States. He was born and spent much of his life in the Hyde Park house where he and Eleanor raised 5 children and entertained visiting dignitaries. It was in the office he called his 'summer White House' where FDR signed the agreement with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill that resulted in teh world's first atomic bomb.
