Frederick Law Olmsted fathered the profession of landscape architecture in America and is best known as the creator of major urban parks. His home and office was in Brookline and have been preserved along with thousands of plans and photographs from 1860 to 1980. Included in the collection are his visions for Central Park and the US Capital Grounds
