Park Details:
Though the Revolutionary War battle of Moores Creek Bridge on February 27, 1776 was a small one between loyalists and patriots of North Carolina, the implications were huge. The victory demonstrated patriot strenth in the countryside, discouraged loyalist sentiment in teh Carolinas and spurred revolutionary feeling throughout the colonies.
