Park Details:
The site is located in the middle of a busy area in the Chelsea section of Manhattan. Theodore Roosevelt, the apostle of 'strenuous life', the larger than life hero to millions of Americans and the 26th President of the United States was botn on October 27, 1858 in a typical New York brownstone on a quiet tree-lined street where his family lived from 1854 until 1872.
