Park Details:
Sagamore Hill was the home of President Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States. The 23-room Queen-Anne style home was completed in 1885 and was one of the most conspicuous homes in America for more than 30 years. Correspondents maintained a vigil at the Summer White House to observe and discuss the activities of the Roosevelt family and to cover the visiting dignitaries.
