The life and work of Thadeus Kosciuszko, a Polish-born American patriot and hero of the American Revolution, are commemorated at 301 Pine St. in Philadelphia. He is remembered for his efforts on behalf of the American fight for independence. This small townhouse where he rented a room during the winter of 1797-98 has been restored a s a memorial to him.
