Park Details:
The home of Ulysses and Julia Grant was recently restored. Grant was the commanding general of Federal forces during the later half of the Civil War and became the President of the United States. The Grants lived on this St. Louis Country estate in the years before the war. Five historic structures are on the 9.65 acre property. During Grant's presidency, the property totalled nearly 1,000 acres.
