The park commemorates women's struggle for equal rights. It includes the Wesleyan Mehodist Chapel, the site of the first Women's Rights Convention in 1848, the Elizabeth Cady Stanton home, the M'Clintock House where the Declaration of Rights and Sentiments was written and other sites related to notable early women's rights activists.
